HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have released national offensive lineman Braden Schram, the team announced on Thursday.

Schram was drafted by the Tiger-Cats in the second round, 13th overall, in the 2017 CFL Draft.

The 25-year-old played in just one game in his rookie season – his CFL debut on August 12 against Winnipeg. The six-foot-four, 312-pound Manning, Alberta native played four seasons at the University of Calgary from 2013 to 2016, starting 31 games for the Dinos on the offensive line. He was named a Canada West All-Star twice (2014, 2015), and also earned U Sports First Team All-Canadian honours in 2015.
