Mitchell Johnson, the Australian fast bowler, decided to retire from all form of cricket, on last Saturday. Left armer Johnson retired from international cricket in 2015 but remained a dynamic bowler in Twenty20 games. He was awarded by the ' ICC Cricketer Of The Year' twice in 2009 and 2014. No need to remind that he was awesome player with spectacular pace with swing, here is my favourite 3 spell of Johnson's career-

                                               8̲-6̲1̲ ̲V̲s̲ ̲S̲o̲u̲t̲h̲ ̲A̲f̲r̲i̲c̲a̲ ̲A̲t̲ ̲P̲e̲r̲t̲h̲ ̲I̲n̲ ̲2̲0̲0̲8̲

Statistically, this was Johnson's best bowling performance in tests. On the 2nd day of test he took 7 wickets for just 12 runs, including 5 wickets in the span of 20 balls, dismissing top sides like Jacque Kallis, AB De Villiers and JP Duminy. He ended his spell with 8/61 next day. Despite his brilliant performance Australia lost the match. His that spell was one of the finest with old-ball.

                                        4̲-1̲1̲ ̲V̲s̲ ̲I̲n̲d̲i̲a̲ ̲A̲t̲ ̲K̲u̲a̲l̲a̲ ̲L̲a̲m̲p̲u̲r̲ ̲i̲n̲ ̲2̲0̲0̲6̲

This one was special. This was ODI played in 2006 in Malaysia and young Johnson took 4 wickets in just 4 overs. He dismissed top players like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Irfan Pathan and Yuvraj Singh. That was the glimpse what Johnson would become.

                                           7̲-4̲0̲ ̲V̲s̲ ̲E̲n̲g̲l̲a̲n̲d̲ ̲I̲n̲ ̲2̲0̲1̲3̲ ̲A̲s̲h̲e̲s̲ ̲S̲e̲r̲i̲e̲s̲

This one is my all time favourite spell of Johnson, when he produced his best ever bowling performance in inning. After Australia scored 9/570,  England were good at 4/116 at lunch on the 3rd day but after lunch Johnson again dismissed England's line-up, finishing 7/40 in first innings. The highlight of the spell was the 5 wickets witch came in mere of 18 deliveries after the break. He continued his dynamic form throughout the series and took 37 wicket in 5 matches. He was named man of the series, having been man of the match in 3 of 5 matches.

This spells of Johnson's are one of my favourite, what about yours?
