Nepal won its fourth match in the Women's World Cup Qualifier in Thailand. Nepal defeated China by 5 runs in the match.
Nepal started to bat after losing the toss and made just 77 runs in 20 overs. This is the very poor batting display by Neplease women against a team like China. However, because of the very tight and disciplined bowling display, Nepal managed to restrict China in just 72 runs and won by 5 runs.
Despite the win, Nepal chances for being qualify is still more difficult. While remaining only 1 more round to go Nepal ranked 3rd in the table behind of Thailand and UAE. As per International Cricket Council (ICC), only one team will qualify for global qualifier from this Asian qualifier for the 2020 Womens T20 world cup in Australia and 2021 Women world cup in New Zealand.
