Former Pakistan cricket team captain Mohammad Yousuf has dismissed Shoaib Akhtar's statement regarding discrimination against religion-based players.

I condemn discrimination against players because of religion in the Pakistan Cricket Team,

In a message posted on the social networking site Twitter, Mohammad Yousaf said that I condemn the discrimination against religion-based players in the Pakistan cricket team.۔

I have been a part of the Pakistan cricket team and I have always received a lot of love and support from the team, the management and the fans! Pakistan Zindabad.

Remember that Mohammad Yousuf was born into a Christian family and when he became part of the Pakistan cricket team, he was known as Yousuf Yuhana۔

However, in 2005 he converted to Islam and was renamed Muhammad Yusuf. Later, he became part of the Tablighi community and started preaching religion.

He is also the captain of the Pakistan cricket team. It is to be noted that Shoaib Akhtar claimed that leg spiner Danish Kaneria suffered discrimination as a Hindu.

Shoaib Akhtar claimed that some players of Pakistan cricket team did not like to sit with Danish Kaneria because they belonged to the Hindu family and they were Hindus,

To which Danish Kaneria responded, saying that this is true, I can name the people who did not sit down to eat with me.

؛I myself am anis350 also muslim. But I don't think so. Whether Hindu or Christian. I eat with them. I live with them. If a person does not eat, it cannot be wrong for the entire country. And Islam is a broad religion. We are not told to treat non-Muslims with discrimination. Islam has always encouraged good"
