Described as the fastest bowler in the world Mohammad Zahid is a Pakistani Cricketer.A Right Arm Fast bowler and right handed batsman.Unfortunately he is not the well known bowler to the world due to his short span career as he suffered a back injury earlier and could not continue to play cricket.He deserves to b atleast known to everyone as he was a great bowler and could have turned greatest of all time .

MOHAMMAD ZAHID was born on August 2,1976 in Punjab Pakistan.From his childhood he was very much crazy and fond of Football.He used to play football with his friends at a specific ground where cricket was also played at that time he was only upto 14 years old.One day he reached the ground and there was no football that day and cricket was going on , Without hesitation he picked up a ball and started to bowl and everyone there were impressed to see his superb bowling with natural pace.

After watching his bowling various sportspersons come forward and recommended him to play cricket but intially he was not interested to play cricket but later on started to play cricket for GAGOO CLUB.

His journey to international cricket began when he went out for trail selection for Pakistan u19 among the thousands he was surprisingly selected and moreover during his trials the CHEIF SELECTER (SALEEM ALTAF) also said that this boy is having a great potential and he will go very far. Afterwards he bowled very fast in New Zealand and performed well.Being great in nets with Pakistani camp he was recommended to ZAHEER ABBAS by a Pakistani wicketkeeper MOIN KHAN and got a chance to play for pakistan Imternatinal cricket team.

He played hid first test against New Zealand on 28 November 1996 and became the first pakistani bowler in the history to take 10 wickets in his debut.

He encountered with varoius great batsmen but after bowling to BRAIN LARA he mentioned him as the fastest bowler in the world.You can watch his bowling to BRAIN LARA by watching the vedio below:-

Due to the lack of speed guns and cameras nobody could judge his exact pace but almost everyone at that time said and still believes that he was the fastest bowler.The destiny to become the fastest bowler in the world was not in his favour as he suffered a serious back injury and went under surgery and could not continue with his unbeaten great bowling.

His international  career for Pakistan remained breif as he only managed to play 5 tests and 11 ODI.

Even the legendary fastest bowler SHOAIB AKHTER confessed in an interview that MOHAMMAD ZAHID was atleast a yard quicker than him.He praised him in various aspects of his bowling
