Good Evening to all, its an easy win for South Africa against Australia in first ODI in 3 match series and now they are lead the series by 1-0. once again Bowling department plays a crucial role in the match so let discuss about the match in details below.

Match Review

the first match is always a crucial one while series of only 3 matches. the match was played at Perth which is known as Paradise of Fast bowlers and today too it has proven true. South Africa won the toss and they decided to field which is a good choice in that condition because the pitch is so helpful for steamers in the morning and South Africa took advantage of that condition. South African fast bowlers did amazing bowling that they took 3 wickets in first 10 overs as well as not allow to hit single boundary too. the game is set by the most successful bowler in the team Dale Steyn as he took 2 wickets in 3rd over dismissed by Head and Short which gave a lot of confidence and mental strength to the team. Steyn and Ngidi did so tight bowling as they not gave room in first 10 overs and thus Australia able to score only 19 runs in first 10 overs. They losing wicket one after another and thus they can't able to make a big score as they all out on just 152 runs. Dale Steyn took 2 wickets, Ngidi took 2 wickets, Tahir took 2 wickets and Phelukwayo too 3 wickets besides in Australia, Coulter-Nile scored 34 runs and Carey made 33 runs and others batsmen not able to score many runs.

as its a small total to chase in mind, South Africa did good start as they made 94 runs partnership for the first wicket which almost told the result of the match. as all know W.A.C.A. is helpful for fast bowler so Australia played with 4 genuine fast bowlers but they not able to show their skill as they defending a low total. Quinton De Kock was playing so attacking and made quick 47 runs while non-striker end Reza Hendricks stayed on wicket by the defensive approach. Reza Hendricks made 44 valuable runs before he out. Aiden Markram has also shown his skill by made quick 36 runs and once against can't able to take his inning to the end and out just before 9 runs short from the victory. South Africa easily achieved victory in 30th over by lost 4 wickets so South Africa won the first match by 6 wickets. from Australia side, only Marcus Stonis was a successful bowler who took 3 wickets. Nathan Coulter-Nile took 1 wicket but other bowlers gave runs as well as not able to take wickets.

What Mistakes Australia has made

Australia did some wrong decision in playing 11 as well as in batting order and review system too. if you have opening batsman D'arcy Short and Nicol Carey then why you sent Travis Head in an opening with Aaron Finch. Travis Head is a good batsman of middle order where Short is a good player for opening so why they did that changes. they gave lots of chances to Glenn Maxwell and D'arcy Short but they continue not perform well so why they still in the team which is little weird thing for me. Ben McDermott must deserve to play and he can play well in middle overs. They sent Maxwell to very down in the order as its batter if they sent ahead. While Finch out by LBW at that time, all people thought and he has doubt too that bowl will either miss the stump or just clip the stump so he has to take DRS as its available so maybe the final total was different but he not took as he prefers to leave the field because no support or strong response from non-striker end. what I think is that their batting order was completely wrong which cause them to lose this match. South Africa fielding was so tight and amazing which also help in the match as that Faf Du Plessis catch and Miller runout on crucial stage. for his wonderful bowling spell, Dale Steyn named for Man of The Match Performance.
