It was a super Saturday and two matches were played the first match was played between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi capitals in that Delhi has to win the match to secure the second position. While Rajasthan Royals win the match and still they have to depend on others team result to qualify for playoffs. But Rajasthan is now out of the playoff. The battle is between Kolkata knights Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
After winning the toss Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper elected to bowl first and with that they have two changes in the team as they bring hetmyer in place of Klassen. Sunrisers Hyderabad was with the same team as they have only changes is that Yusuf Pathan comes in. Hyderabad once gains flip with their middle order as they were throughout the season.
After getting the good start they were 50 runs in the powerplay without losing any wicket but later on wicket start falling and it looks difficult to have 160 runs. but, have Williamson innings help Sunrisers Hyderabad to cross 170 runs on the board.70 runs innings of just 43 balls helped to have 175 runs and now it was all depend on bowlers to defend the total to make qualify for playoffs.
Bangalore lose their top 3 batsmen first Kohli, Parthiv Patel and de Villiers inside the score of 20 runs and now Gurkreet Singh and Simon Hetmyer have to play good innings as to make the team happy. Both have played good knock and with that, they have cross 144 runs partnership and so they win by 4 wickets and 4 balls left. But final win can't able to qualify for a playoff for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
