Most important thing is no over limitation for any team. Every team can play as many numbers of overs as he wants.
A common trick to know whether the match is Test matches or not is dressing of players. In Test Matches, all players wear white dresses.
This is the most boring format of cricket.
Brief Introduction One Day cricket-
In One Day cricket, two innings played in the whole match. It means one innings by one team and second inning by another team. Each innings consists of 50 overs. This 50 overs must be completed by bowling side in 3 hours and 30 minutes. So total game duration is 7 hours approx. Total 100 overs in the match.
This is one of the best formats of cricket. People like to watch it and enjoy it.
In this format, cricketer wears color dressed as provided by there cricket board.
Brief introduction of Twenty-Twenty cricket-
This is the newest format of cricket. As nowadays, life is fast and busy. So people like this format very much. In this format, total two innings played over the match. Each team plays one inning. Each innings have 20 overs. Bowling team must have to complete 20 overs within 75 minutes.
This is the most popular and favorite format of all cricket viewers. Because in this game many Six and Fours were hits by batsman which entertains viewers. Every team wants to gain as many runs quickly because of the limitation of overs.
In this format players also dressed in color cloth.
