After getting the humongous victory in test cricket, the Indian team is ready to face comming ODI series. India will have to face the WI in five matches. The first match will be played on 21st October 2018. The match will be played at India`s most eastern situated stadium Guwahati. Match will start at 2:00 PM according to Indian standard time.
What about public interest about this tournament-
As you know the WI team is not so impressive in cricket nowadays so that people are not so excited about these matches. Though, India and cricket have a deep relation, so that it does not mean no audience in these matches. But we can say in compared to matches against Pakistan, Australia, England, SriLanka there we get very less audience.
Even the Indian team have been concentrating on coming Australia tour. After all, we can expect some good matches in the ODI series too. Because we can not forget, that cricket is unpredictable.
Another controversial news came related to this series. BCCI has changed the prescheduled stadium from Wankhede to Brabourne stadium. Important is that BCCI has not given any reason for this change. So that Wankhede management is preparing for the filling case on Bombay high court. As both of the stadium situated in Mumbai so there is not much impact on this change because the city is the same and both stadia is situated very near to each other.
Indian team squad is strong as Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan come back in the team. Skipper Virat also in the team. So the team is now very strong in comparison to WI.
However, I am looking for T-20 matches which will start after the ODI series. In T-20 matches unpredictability increased. In those matches, almost all team play well. There we can see some entertaining matches.
