After loosing the toss Pakistan opener Fakar Zaman and Babar Azam open the innings for Pakistan. Fakhar Zaman got out for just for 14 runs by stanlake but on the second side Babar Azam doesnot give up and he takes team to have a good scored on the board. One time Babar Azam was ranking top in T20 ranking at the start of the year 2018.with the innings of 68 runs he scored 6 fours and 1 sixes in his innings. After giving a target of 156 runs Australian team opener Aaron finch and D Archy shot both got out in the first over of imad wasim. Skipper Aaron finch got out for a duck by imad wasim. Australian top order collapsed inside the power play and so the rest of the team got out for just 89 runs. Most wicket taker for Pakistan team was imad wasim who takes 3 wiicket by giving just 20 runs in his 4 overs. Maxwell got out for just scoring 1 runs .
Alex Carey and Ben McDermott both has a debut in the match but the time is not good for them because Ben McDermott was got run out in his first match only. So, they both should get another chance to show their talent. Hasan Ali took a brilliant catch of Adam Zampa who helped Pakistan team to win the match. Besides this he too k 1 wicket and also he scored 14 runs with his bat. After winning the first match Pakistan team are having a good series ahead and they are aiming to have a good match ahead and also to clinch the series.
