In 1932, India played the first Test of its cricket history against England itself. After many interesting developments, Captain CK Nayudu was received by the captaincy.

CK Nayudu was not a king or Prince, but he also belonged to the elite class. His father was a lawyer and his landlord dada was named by the British government by the title of Raibahadur. But CK Nayudu was the best cricketer. There were discussions in his first class matches in the Bombay and London cricket scandal. Playing on behalf of the Hindu team at the Bombay Gymkhana and Madras matches, Naidu had hit so many six sixes that had fallen into the pavilion.

In that 'Maharaja-Yuvaraj era' of Indian cricket, CK Nayudu was handed over by captaincy destiny. In the first match, Indian players made a memorable performance under Naidu's leadership. England decided to bat first in this three-day Test match, which started on 25 June 1932. Naidu instructed Indian bowler Mohammed Nissar and Amar Singh to put the ball on the right length in every situation. And the result was that England lost three wickets for 19 runs against India's newbie team.

Later, England collapsed due to captain Douglas Jardin (who is called the father of bodyline bowling) and scored 79 runs in the first innings and the team got 259 runs in the first innings. Mohammed Nissar took a brilliant display and took five for 93 runs. Captain CK Nayudu also took two wickets in the match. He picked a valuable wicket of Douglas Jardin But the bowlers did not get enough support from the batsmen. In the first innings, the Indian team made 189 runs out of the match. Captain CK Nayudu was injured in the hand in an attempt to catch a catch in the street. Even after this, he scored 40 runs.

In the second innings, England declared at 275 for eight wickets in an innings. In the second innings, Jahangir Khan took four wickets for 60 runs. In reply, the Indian batting collapsed to 187 in the second innings. In this way India lost by their first Test by 159 runs. But before the match-taking performance of the bowlers and the captaincy of Naidu pulled the attention of the world.

CK Nayudu's name was registered as India's first Test captain. The headlines were not ready to leave with them. After this he scored 101 and 130 against Middlesex and Somerset County. When India's tour of England ended in 1932, Naidu had scored 1613 runs at an average of 42.34 with five centuries. During this time, he also took 59 wickets at an average of 29.33. CK Nayudu hit 32 sixes in the entire tour. When Naidu played a magnificent innings of 130 runs against MCC at Lord's, the famous English star Star of England told him to 'Hindu Bradman'. The star's heading was - 'The Hindu breadman in the farm at Lords.' The reason behind the Hindu Breadman was that CK Naidu played at the Bombay Gymkhana on behalf of the Hindu team. Prior to India's debut in international cricket, Naidu's reputation was as a player of the Hindu team.

CK Nayudu was given the title of colonel by the Holkar rulers. He was also honored with Padma Vibhushan in 1956. Naidu's popularity can be estimated from the fact that in 1941, he advertised bathgate lever tonic and became the first Indian cricketer to promote a brand.

CK Nayudu had captained India at the age of 36 and he played first-class cricket for 60 years. Comparing him with Bradman may be the result of an immediate excitement, but Naidu's entire personality was Rama in the game. In addition to cricket, they used to play hockey and football as well and it is said that the Colonel would finish the race of 100 yards in 11 seconds. For the captaincy of India's Test team, the first and second, Colonel CK Nayudu, who is not considered to be the third option, laid the foundation of India's international cricket that, in the future, India could reach world champions twice.
