Hello everyone, here's is the post match analysis of 2nd ODI between India and England which held on July 15th in which England beat India by 86 runs.

Indian team analysis -

India had got a decent start from the openers, the first wicket(Rohit Sharma) fell at 49 runs followed by the remaining at regular intervals. At one stage Kohli and Raina started to build the partnership but failed in the execution. M.S.Dhoni's innings might be the worst in his career where he completely failed in executing at the death overs which led India to give up the chase and made 236/10.

The bowlers had took wickets at regular intervals and gave runs during the death overs. The pace bowlers in the team were not much experienced, where we can clearly observe the importance of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Jusprit Bumrah.

England team analysis -

Eoin Morgan being a local knows the pitch conditions very well and decided to bat first.

They got a good start from the openers, the run-rate kept down as the wickets fell during the middle overs, Joe Root's 113(116) and David Willey's quick 50(31) helped England to put a competitive total of 322 in front of India.

The spinners Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali had played a crucial role in the bowling part where they didn't gave any chance to Indian's to play freely which helped in climbing the required run rate up and up, followed by Liam Plunkett who took 4 wickets.

Based upon the above statistics England had performed an all round show in the 2nd ODI.

The Indian team might be thinking of where they went wrong during the execution of their plans. Lets see how the Indian team reacts in the next ODI.

So, now the 3rd ODI which going to start on Jul 17th at "Headingley" will be the decider of ODI series. Since cricket is a sport where the results may change from one side to other just in a matter of time the 3rd ODI is surely going to be interesting.

Meanwhile, M.S.Dhoni is 2nd wicket keeper in the criket history to reach 10,000 runs in the ODI's. Congratulations!!!

See you all with an interesting article after the 3rd ODI, cheers!!
