Nepal continues their impressive run in the 16th Match of ICC World Twenty20 Asia Region Qualifier B at Kuala Lumpur today morning against their neighboring country China. Nepal got another easy victory in the ongoing competition, They won the match by 10 wickets in just 1.5 overs. Nepali bowlers again perform their best to keep their opponent in very low total. Nepali leg-spinner Sandip Lamichane was awarded man of the match award for his bowling contribution.

Nepal won the toss and elected to bowl first, Nepali pace bowler Lalit Bhandari opened the bowling for Nepal and from other ends, Lalit Rajbanshi attacked the Chinese openers. Nepal didn't have to wait too long for their first wicket, opener Lalit Rajbanshi took the first wicket of opener N Sun in just second over of the inning, then Chinese batsmen played very carefully and tried to not lose the wicket very easily, they didn't lose their second wicket till 6th over, they were at 21 for 1 at end of sixth over. After sixth over, the downfall of Chinese inning started, Nepali rising spinner Sandip Lamichane took two wickets in his second over. Then in next over of experienced spinner Basanta Regmi, China lose another two wickets. From 21 for 1 in 6 overs, China lost 9 wickets in just 5 runs and was all out at just 26 runs in 13 overs.

Nepali Spinners Sandip Lamichane and Basanta Regmi bowled brilliantly in their four-over spells. The man of the match Sandip took 3 wickets with 1 maiden in his 4 overs conceding just 4 runs, while Basanta Regmi also took 3 wickets with one maiden in his 4 overs conceding 5 runs. The opener Lalit Rajbanshi also took the 3 wickets for Nepal. For China, opener HJ Yan is only one player to cross the double figure for them, he scored 11 runs in 27 balls. Seven out of ten players couldn't open their scoring account for them, the 7th place batsmen DZ Ma scored 5 runs from 11 balls, while 9 runs came from the extras.

On chasing score, Nepal started with the same opening pair as they did in the previous match against Bhutan. The wicket Keeper Batsmen Binod Bhandari who had failed to impress in this competition started in hurry to finish the match quickly, He hits two fours and a six in first over of the second inning. Tian Sen Qun conceded 21 runs in the first over. Then in the second-last ball of the second over Binod Bhandari again hits a boundary to secure an easy 10 wicket win for Nepal. Nepali opener Binod Bhandari scored the 24 runs in just 8 balls and was not out along with other openers Pradip Airee who scored 4 runs in 3 balls. This win extended Nepal's victory run to 5 matches in ongoing ICC World Twenty20 Asia Region qualification. Nepal is now at top of the table with 10 points from 5 games and Singapore who also won games is behind Nepal by net run rate. Both Nepal and Singapore will face each other in their final group stage game on 12 October. Both teams have faced each other couple of times in the past, this match will be the real test for both team as they faced comparatively easier opponents in the competition. The winner will surely top the group while no result will favor Nepal with better Net Run Rate.
