The year 2018 is turning out to be one of the best years of for young Nepali Cricketer Sandeep Lamichane. After getting a breakthrough in IPL season 2018 from Delhi Daredevils, he has played a lot of different international domestic league tournaments. He also got the opportunity to play from World XI team in a charity match against West Indies in a famous cricket stadium Lord's in may 2018. He already signed a contract with different teams to take part in different international domestic leagues.

Yesterday at Lahore, he added another international domestic league on his pending tournaments list. He registered his name on the different international domestic leagues for becoming the first Nepali player ever to play those leagues, this team he will become the first Nepali to play in Pakistan Super League(PSL). In yesterday’s auction, he was bought by the PSL club Lahore Qalandar for the 4th season of Pakistan Super League. The PSL will start in next year from 17 February to 17 March. Sandeep has already proved his mettle against world’s top batsmen in the different franchise tournaments this year and also set the new national record of most wicket taking bowler in a single tournament from National Team. He will play alongside with former South African player and a Captain AB Devilliers who is always known for his destructive batting.

From Nepal, Sandeep, and all-rounder Sompal Kami was listed in the player draft but only Sandeep has managed to register his name on PSL. Sandeep was also selected in last season’s draft but wasn’t bought by any team that time. The players were listed in 5 categories Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver and Emerging. The Sandeep was franchised by Lahore from Gold category. Sandeep will earn the gold categories minimum of $50,000 to a maximum $70,000 from this tournament. Sandeep is currently at UAE to play a T-10 tournament from Kerala Kings. This newest format of T-10 will starts from 23 November and ends on 2 December.
