Due to poor form, this year Australian team had been changed due to their average performance after suspended of Steve Smith and David Warner teams look uncomfortable and incomplete without this two legend. In this year they only win T20 series against India. In India, Australia is playing 5 matches ODI series and also they are 2-1 behind and so it will be another one-day series loss of them in the absence of two great batsmen and captain.
Australia announced their squad same as the team played in India. Mitchell start in which their whole team depends is facing ankle injury and so he left out and not included in the squad. moreover, the world cup is coming near and so they are not taking any risk to include key players against Pakistan. Besides this, they are giving rest as to remain fit before the world cup. Aaron Finch had not shown his class of captaincy in the absence of Steve Smith.
Steve Smith and David Warner are not included in the squad for Pakistan. Despite, their ban is completing after 3 matches ODI against Pakistan. After three odd they both return to play international cricket. Australian selector decided that they should play Indian premier league and gain Confidence so for them and also the Australian team get advantage from it. After playing in Indian premier league there would be an open gate for both of them to play a world cup.
Australia is currently in India, playing 2 T-20 and 5 match ODI series. Out of this, they won 2 T-20 series. But in ODI they are lagging back with 2-1, still, two matches to go. After ODI series in India and Pakistan, they can improve many things from this and also it would be an advantage to put an eye on a player when selecting the team for the world cup and so they are going with the same team as they were having against India.
