South African opener Hasim Amla announced his retirement from all international format. On Thursday 8th August, Hasim amla takes a huge decision of his career. He told his fans that he will continue to play domestic T20. He had several records on his name and apart from that, he remained a key player for South Africa in every format.
Hasim Amla made his international debut with the test match against India at Kolkata in the year 2004. He first started his career with test cricket, later on, he was included in ODI and T20 squad. Hasim Amla has a unique record of fastest 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000 runs among all over the world players.
Hasim Amla had more than 18000 runs in his name throughout the whole format. To reach 18000 runs, it just needed 349 matches. Moreover, Hasim Amla was struggling with the runs in the world cup 2019 and so he decided to quit cricket and take retirement from international cricket but he will play the domestic T20 from his country and from the world.
In this month two African batsman take a retirement first was Dale Steyn and now Hasim Amla. South Africa team will be sad with a decision of Hasim Amla. One day matches, Hasim Amla has an average of 49 which is excellent in 50 over format. Moreover, he had 28 and 27 centuries on his name in Test and one-day international matches.
