Hello friends,

The Indian team is currently in New Zealand and playing cricket against New Zealand. The Indian team started the tour with a victory and won two matches out of the five ODI scheduled to be played between them. The Indian team was dominant over the Kiwis in every department of the game. Either Bowling or batting or you can take fielding. This is really a good sign for India that they are performing consistently well on foreign soil.

Now In this post, I am going to tell you something hilarious which happened after the defeat of the Kiwi`s by the Men in Blue at the Mt Mangunai stadium of New Zealand. Eastern District Police department made a hilarious tweet on Kiwis. In this tweet, the Police are giving warning New Zealanders to be careful and stay away from a touring group of a few people especially those that are carrying a bat and a ball. The tweet also consists of a photo of the Indian team.

This tweet was responded to by ex-New Zealand Cricketer Scott Styris with a very funny and clever comment. This tweet demonstrates how unhappy the New Zealand people are with the performance of their national cricket team. Here is a screenshot of the tweets and posts by the Eastern District Police.

It is natural that fans will become unhappy when their team plays so poorly no matter which country it is. Particularly with the World Cup coming up the fans do not expect their teams to lose their home games so easily. When the two teams are ranked two and three in the world in ODI cricket, the fans expected some tough cricket and closely fought matches but are disappointed with the performance of their team so far. New Zealand will have to perform much better in the upcoming matches to remain in the series. They must win all the remaining matches to win the series. If they lose one of those matches, they lose the series.

Things have been changing rapidly in the world of cricket. Some of the good teams like Sri Lanka and Australia are not doing as well as they used to. On the other hand, some of the teams considered as minnows have put up and improved performances. I am expecting good cricket in the third ODI at 7.30 in the morning according to the Indian Standard Time. I hope the Indian team continues to play well to seal the series. That will give the Indian team to try out other players in the team in preparation for the World Cup. Tomorrow’s match will be the last before Captain Virat Kohli heads home and the team will be captained by Rohit Sharma.
