Former national team captain Waseem Akram has analyzed the Pakistani team's performance in the Asia Cup. He says that the victory of the Champions Trophy was just an unpredictable thing for anyone, so the green shirts should be on their cover their burdens and they look forward to future because their performance against the strong teams is not being proven.

Waseem Akram said he played cricket for Pakistan for twenty years but never faced such a one-way defeat, which has brought Pakistan team out of the dreams of the Champions Trophy success. He said that Virat Kohli is no present in the Indian team for the Asian Cup, and Allah knows what the situation would happen in their presence him because current Indian side has shown performance very well in all departments as compare to Pakistan.

He said that while playing against Pakistan in the 90s, the Indian team seemed to be a victim of pressures, but now the Pakistan team is facing similar situations because victory or defeat is part of the game. The Former national captain said that the Pakistan team should play fewer matches against the weaker and weak competitors because they did not understand what was done by playing matches against Zimbabwe.
