Pakistan have looked dominant and have already showed it in the T20 series which hosted by Zimbabwe which included pakistan and australia.

Pakistan started the batting in a blistering manner with Imam ul Haq and Fakhar getting quick fifties in a strong partnership of 133 runs. Imam ul Haq scored career best of 128 runs and Fakhar Zaman scored 60 runs.

The two openers were able to give the opening stand which the Pakistan would have been looking for. Towards the end of the innings A. Ali finished with a quick fire 46 runs to put a score of 309 on the board.

Zimbabwe were facing a big total at their home ground against the strong bowling side. The opening start couldn't make an impact as half of the Zimbabwe team was bundled put for only 55 runs and things looked far from target for Zimbabwe. Top three pacers of the pakistan shared 5 wickets and put a huge blow to the hopes of Zimbabwe as the whole team was out for only 107 runs in 35 overs.

The second ODI will be played on Monday with pakistan looking very strong on the sheet. Zimbabwe needs to stick to the basic and play incredibly well if they want to make an impact in the series.
