England have dropped spin all-rounder Moeen Ali from the second Ashes Test. He did not make any significant contribution to the bat in the first test. He has been replaced by spinner jack leach for the lord test. In the first Test at edgbaston moeen took three wickets for 172 runs in two innings. And he can only bat four runs in two innings. England with a 90-run lead in the first innings of that test also lost by a huge margin of 251 to australia. Meanwhile moeen decided to quit cricket. The allrounder however has taken a temporary break not exactly bye-bye. I do not know when he will return to the cricket field. However this announcement was not given by moeen himself he was given County team on behalf of worcestershire. After being eliminated from the lord test team the board was told to keep himself fit while playing in county cricket.

It was speculated that he would soon go down to play for worcestershire. But to everyone surprise the county has said moeen ali is taking a temporary break from cricket due to a busy schedule of international cricket. He will rejoin the county team after the break. However, the county did not know when the break would end. Meanwhile although moeen was dropped from the squad it was not too worried about English test captain Joe Root according to him the off spinning allrounder will return to the cricket field after a break. That will help the England cricket team even more. Joe Root is trying to convince moeen what his current position is and what our position is to get him back on the field. Joe Root think the county game will be good for him now. So that he can prepare himself for the national team by playing well for worcestershire.
