India won the toss and elected to field first. Australian openers came to crease Aaron Finch and D'Arcy Short. Buvineshwar on the other hand started his first over. In his first over, he took the wicket of Australian skipper Aaron Finch. India took Australian skipper early in this 2nd T20. Australia loosing thier first wicket and now they started to maintain their batting performance along with D'Arcy Short and Chris Lynn.

Chriss Lynn started playing his best, but after facing some balls he give his wicket in hands of Krunal Pandya on the last ball of 3rd over by Khaleel Ahmed. After Lynn, Maxwell came to crease and played for few minutes.D'Arcy Short also gave his wicket to Khaleel Ahmed as bowled. Markus Stoins came to play along with Maxwell but he also not did good for his team and also gave his wicket in hands of DK on 3 ball of 7 over by Bumrah.

McDermott now on crease playing along Maxwell, both played few overs partnership of near about 20 runs in 4 overs. After that Maxwell gave his wicket as bowled by Krunal Pandya on last ball of 10 over. McDermott being all-rounder played good for his team and scored 32 runs in 30 balls with 1 six and 1 four.

Alex Carey didn't make such good effort for his team and gave his wicket early in hands of Krunal Pandya of Bumrah's over. Nathan Coulter N'Eil then came to play with McDermott, played an inning of 18 runs. But he also didn't remained their for such a long time. It was the last ball of 15th over and the score of team was 101 when Coulter N'Eil gave his wicket. After that Andrew Tye being a all time best fast bowler scored 12 runs of just 13 balls with 2 fours. His inning of 12 runs lead Australia to 132 runs on board.

Australia had now only 1 over left and rain start drizzling. Players are now called up to stay in dug-out. Play has been stopped due to rain. Everyone was expecting of playing match again but rain didn't stop drizzling. Community now dicided to reduce runs and over also but rain didn't stop. As time gone, and rain still not stopping, community dicided to cancel the 2nd inning of India. Match has been cancelled. Do or Die match for India gave unresult. Indian players were sad but on the other hand Australian's were happy.
