John Wright
Under the coaching of John, the team performance in the home ground is better than the overseas performance. As in both the series and the test the performance of Indian cricket team was not so good at abroad. So after May 2005 the place of John has been replaced by Greg Chap2pell the Australian coach.
2. Greg Chappell
Greg Chappell was a very good coach in himself and he uses to coach team India up to 2007 and then resigned for some reasons which took himself back to his hometown. The Indian cricket team was not as much as happy with his coaching. Big players like Sachin Tendulkar was not happy with the coaching of Greg Chappell and this took him back. 3. Gary Kirsten
Gary Kirsten was Indian coach in December 2007 and he begins his journey in 2008. Indian cricket council has appointed Gary as a Coach for two years and he was under watch by the Board of India. Gary Kristen First match was with his own team South Africa and it was simply drawn match 1-1. Gary Kirsten coaching was good it came to everyone's mind after winning the world cup of 2011 with SriLanka. Gary License was extended after the winning of World-cup of 2011.

4. Duncan Fletcher
After the resignation of Gary, Kirsten Fletcher was appointed as the Indian coach in April 2011 and He was taken in Indian coaching Team for 2 Years of Contract. Under Fletcher, the team was performing in the home team very good but as far as we talk about the Away from home then he was fully hammered with the matches.
He was then been removed from the Indian team before the 2015 Worldcup and then the extension was not renewed given by the coach. The figure shows the home team performance in India and outside the Home team.
5. Anil Kumble
Anil Kumble is one of the leading coaches of the Indian team and has overall given his best in Indian cricket team. But due to the bad relationship with the Indian captain Virat Kohli he told the ICC for the dead relationship with him.

6. Ravi Sastri
Ravi Sastri is a good coach and he was also been coaching for team India after the resignation of Fletcher and filled the gap between those days with his best coaching. Then after he regains applied for coaching in the year 2015 and 2016 and he has been appointed as the Head coach in the year 2017.
This decision for appointing the coach was taken by the ICC and with the meeting of three seniors players in Indian cricket team. As per the contract of Indian cricket board with the coaching of Ravi Sastri, the salary given to the head coach was 8 crore per year.
