After winning the T20 series against West Indies skipper Virat Kohli eyes to seal the ODI series also. In the first ODI, rain-interrupted and so match was able to play off just 13 overs by host team and later on rain not stopped. So the umpire decided to call off the match. but on the second ODI match was possible and with this India start with winning knock.
After winning the toss, skillet Virat Virat decided to bat first as he knew when rain interrupts it will be difficult to bat in the second innings and with this team India batted first. Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli come on the crease to open the innings for team India. Dhawan poor forms continue as he scored just 2 runs and bowled in the bowling of Cotrell. The rain had interrupted the match and so west indies team get a target of 270 runs in 46 overs but they fail to chase the target and so team India wins the match with 59 runs with DLS method. India is now 1-0 lead-in 5 match series.
