Lahore: Indian and Pakistani fans get delighted after Asia cup schedules are continued. Asia cup is being scheduled from september of this year at Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The tournament will be played between six countries divided into two groups, Group A will include India , Pakistan and one of the qualifying team while as group B includes Sri Lanka , Bangladesh and Afghanistan. For the qualifying rank there will be competition between UAE, Oman, Singapore, Nepal, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. From the competition of group matches, top two teams from each group will qualify for super four and the top two teams among them will go for finals of Asia cup.




The inaugural match of asia cup will be played between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on 15 september 2018 at Dubai. Pakistan will get a chance to qualify  on next day at same venue. 

On 17 september 2018, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will face each other at Abu Dhabi and on the next day India will do their best against the qualifier team at Dubai.

The biggest group clash will take place on 19 september 2018 between India and Pakistan at Dubai where not only UAE spectators will be present but also Cricket fans from around the world will come to witness this event.

The next game will be played on 20 september 2018 between Afghanistan and Bangladesh at Abu Dhabi which will be the last group match of Asia Cricket Cup 2018.



The competition between top 4 Teams that will qualify from group stages will be very interesting to watch as the top team of one group will not only play against the runner up team of other group but also with runner up team of same group and top team of other group. 

On 21 september the top team of group A will play against runner up team of group B at Dubai and on the same day the top team of group B will play against runner up team of group A at Abu Dhabi. 

On 23 september the top two teams from group A will face each other at Dubai and the top two teams of group B will face at Abu Dhabi.

On 25 september the top team of group A will face the top team of group B at Dubai while as on the following day the runner up team of group A will face the runner up team of group B at Abu Dhabi.

The Final of Asia Cup 2018 will be played between the top two teams of the Super four teams at Dubai on 28 september.

There will be at least one more competition between India and Pakistan after group matches if both of the teams qualify for Super 4 and if both of the teams qualify for final then they will play three matches against each other in Asia Cup.


The last Asia Cup was of T20 format where India defeated Bangladesh in Finals to lift Asia Cup and overall India has won Asia cup six times where last title was of T20 format. In 2014 Sri Lanka lifted the Asia Cup Trophy. The previous winners of t20 were blue shirts while as the previous winners of ODI format were the Islanders. Pakistan has won the title in 2000 and 2012.
