Worlds two top cricketing nations India and England played one day and T20 series in the last month and both the teams won one series each and we are now witnessing the test series which is currently under progress.

Both the teams are very good test teams and we can say benefit is always with the hosts as the Conditions are well suited for them.

If we take a look at the match in progress England scored 287 runs in their first innings. England lost couple of wickets very early but later it was Johnny Barstow and the captain Joe Root who set their roots and made an important partnership which helped the things out, but later it was hard luck for the host as their well set batsmen and captain cool Joe Root got run out after an excellent innings.

Later the team tumbled and the opponents came back strongly and restricted the team at 287. India in their first innings went up to a flying start and both the openers looked confident and played good cricketing shots but soon they lost their track and both the openers got out one after another and the process continued and wickets are falling at regular intervals. 

At the time of writing this post India were 181 for the loss of seven wickets, the only rescue which I am seeing is the presence of captain Kohli on the crease who has set roots and playing on 66 . Letus hope for a good game.
