Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, the “God of Cricket” was born on 24, April 1973. He is one of the greatest cricketer.

Sachin was the youngest Indian player to play county cricket in England at the age of 19 only.

First ODI century for sachin came in his 79 match, by that time he had scored seven Test hundreds.

Sachin has scored 2,278 runs in 45 world cup matches. Sachin has the record of being top run scorer in an single World Cup tournament twice. In 2003 he has scored 673 runs and in 1996, he has 523 runs. It's unbroken even today.

Sachin won the man-of-match award for his first Test century in 1990 and he was awarded a champagne bottle. He opened the same champagne bottle on his Daughter’s first birthday in 1998 after 8 years !!!!

Sachin opened the batting for the first time in 1994 in ODI against newzeland.

During the World Cup 1987, Sachin was only 14. He was a ball boy for the match India vs Zimbabwe at the Wankhede Stadium, mumbai.

In October 1995, at the age of 22, Sachin became the richest cricketer.This is the time when he signed a five-year contract with World Tel worth Rs 31.5 crore.

Sachin was the first international batsman, who was given out by a third-umpire in1992.
