After having outclassed Aussies Pakistan was able to tackle Kiwis in first T20 contest.

Pakistan's winning season generally in cricket and particularly in T20 cricket is getting longer and longer.

After their 3-0 victory in T20s against toothless Aussies, Pakistan has continued their winning row. They were given a tough time by Kiwis in first T20. Kiwis bowled very good and fielded even better to restrict Pakistan to 148/6 . Muhammad Hafeez was the top scorer , who scored 45 from Pakistan.

In reply, Kiwis had a good start. And Colin Munro played very well for his 50. There were many other small contributions from rest of the players. Ross Taylor stayed till the end but couldn't lead his ship to end and victory. They played very well but lost by 2 runs.

This clinical victory is a good morale booster for Pakistani team because this is a long series having T20, Test matches and ODIs as well. Lets wait for some thrilling competitions in upcoming series.
