The hosts chased down the target of 151 with a ball to spare and 6 wickets in hand. Although some might have expected a dramatic collapse which happened from DC at this very venue.

Ravi Ashwin won the toss and opted to field. Much like yesterday the team batting first could not utilize the powerplay. Bairstow was again dismissed by a leggie Mujeeb Rahman. At the end of powerplay scoreboard read 27-1.

After settling in, both Vijay Shankar and Warner started to accelerate. But that didn't last too long as Ashwin got better of Vijay Shankar. Nabi promoted up the order was backing too far away as he was found short of the crease by Ashwin.Warner(scored 70*) at the other hand was solid as he upped the ante.

Manish Pandey still not in form departed in the final over. Deepak Hooda scored 14 of last 3 and with that SRH posted a total of 150.

It looked like again a below par total even though there was enough in the pitch for the pacers. Chris Gayle after striking some blows got dismissed by Rashid Khan. From thereon there was no looking back for Mayank and Rahul as both went on to a stitch a partnership of 114. The hallmark of this being constantly rotating the strike and putting away bad balls for boundaries. Meanwhile both thr batters got to their 50s.

In the end 19 runs were required off 18. 2 wickets fell in the 18th over as set Mayank and Miller got out. Mandeep Singh trying to bring the equation down too got dismissed. In the final over 11 runs were needed which got to 6 off last 3 balls. Rahul hit a four and then collected a brace and eventually won it for the hosts.

KL RAHUL was Man of the Match for his knock of 71 runs.
