Winston Davis (1983)

Winston Davis, the tall West Indies pacer with a short run up and good pace picked up 7 wickets for 51 runs versus Australia in the 1983 Prudential Cup. West Indies posted 252 for 9 in 60 overs. Australia fell a whopping 101 runs short, credits to his bowling. He was awarded Man of the Match for his shining performance. It was the first ever 7 wicket haul in World Cups as well as ODIs.

Andy Bichel (2003)

England elected to bat first after winning the toss. They were reduced to 204/8 at the end of 50 overs, thanks to Bichel's extraordinary bowling performance of 7 for 20. Australia were struggling in response with a good bowling performance lead Andy Caddick picking 4 wickets. Bichel along with Damien Martyn saw Australia go through by 2 wickets. He was awarded Man of the Match for his crucial 34 runs and stellar bowling performance.

Glenn McGrath (2003)

Australia reached a mammoth total of 301/6 against Namibia at Potchefstroom. Namibia in return fell 250 runs short due to McGrath's fierce bowling spell of 7 for 15. All batsmen, except the captain scored single digit scores with three of them leaving for ducks. The Player of the match trophy followed.

Tim Southee (2015)

After England electing to bat first, Tim Southee ran through the batting lineup picking 7 for 33 and reducing England to 123, with Joe Root being the sole performer. The Kiwis in return chased the target with 8 wickets and 226 balls to spare with captain Brendon McCullum scoring a quick fire 77 off 25 balls. Southee was adjudged the Man of the match.
