In Pokhara Premier League(PPL) today, Chitwan Rhinos have registered a massive win against Dhangadi Blues. This was Chitwan’s first win in this tournament.

Winning the toss Dhangadi Blues elected to field first. Dhangadi Blues made 193 runs in 20 overs. Opener duo Harishankar Shah and Anil Shah played well for Chitwan. Harisankar scored 53, and Anil Shah scored 37 runs. They made 101 runs partnership for the first wicket; it was the biggest partnership in this tournament. Captain Parash Khadka scored 19 runs; Sunny Patel made not out 26 runs, Sumit Patel Scored 24 and Karan KC scored 11 runs.

Chasing the big target of 194 runs, Dhangadi Batting lineup was destroyed by Chitwan Bowlers. Dhangadi were able to score only 67 runs in 16.2 over. Peter Tegro contributed 27, and Yogendra Singh Kari made 17. Meanwhile, all other players weren’t able to make double-digit runs. Sunny Patel got four crucial wickets, Sumit Patel and Bhuwan Karki got two wickets each. Karan KC and Shakti Gauchan got one wicket each.

Chitwan Rhinos won the match by a huge margin of 126 runs. Sunny Patel was chosen Man of the Match for his all-around performance. After winning this game, Chitwan has equal points as Dhangadi but have a good run rate. Now, these two teams will need to win the last two games, to get qualify for the next stage.

In second match today Biratnagar Titans also registered their first win in the tournament. They defeated the league leader Butwal Blasters after amazing last over bowling spell from Kishor Mahato.
