In the first match of Pokhara Premier League today, Dhangadi Blues have won against Pokhara Paltans. After winning the toss in the Pokhara Stadium, Pokhara Paltans elected to bat first. Pokhara made 144 runs in 20 over in loss of 8 wickets.

For Pokhara Platans Rohit Kumar Poudel made 31 runs, Ravi Indra Singh 28 runs, Asif Sheikh 27and Captain Sharad Veshawakar 14 runs. Other batsman failed to contribute double-digit runs. For Dhangadi Blues Kamal Singh Airee bowled four overs and got four wickets. He conceded just 23 runs in four over bowling a maiden over too. Peter Trego, Daniel Lawrence, and Robin Chhetri got one wicket each.

Chasing the target of 145 runs, Dhangadi won the match in the 19.5 over, after a brilliant finishing from Dipendra Singh Airee. Peter Trego scored brilliant Half Century, and Ds Airee score 49 runs. Opener Suvendu Pandey contributed 22 runs meanwhile other batsman failed to impress today. In the last, over Dipendra score 14 runs facing five balls, which was enough for Dharavi to win the match. They won the match by two wickets with one ball to spare. Rashid Khan got four wickets conceding just 24 runs in 4 overs. Lalit Rajbansi and Bikram Bhusal got two wickets each.

After the win, Dhangadi has moved to the top of the table with six points. In the second match today Kathmandu Royal won agaist Butwal Blasters.
