Its always a bitter truth to be speak off as our Nepali national players whether it be of Football, Cricket, Kabbadi or any other sports, they are not recognized or valued well. Nepal is a country where every sector is hampered by politics so do the sports sector.
But this time after the cabinet meeting held on February 11, 2019 Nepal government has marked different cash prizes to individual national team players.
As per the notice released by the cabinet meeting, Following are the cash prizes that would be honored to our National Sports Team Players :-
Cash prize of worth around 4500$ would be awarded to each national cricket team member.
The Assistant coach would be awarded by worth around 2000$ and the Coach would be awarded by worth around 2700$. They are rewarded for their passionate game and international achievement in T20series which they performed very well against UAE.
Similarly, Our National Football teams would be rewarded around 2600$ each for their fabulous international game plays.
Nevertheless, The pride of our country Mr. Maheshwar Maharjan would be rewarded by around 4500$ . He have won first gold medal for Nepal in 10th World Bodybuilding and Physique Championship which was held in Thailand.
