After a big loss in the second test, Team India is all geared up for the third entry of the test series. Team India is on back-foot after a 146 run defeat in the second test where Indian batters failed to make an impact in the last inning. The weakness lies in the lower middle order and lower order. Tailenders were not able to make 20 run partnership whereas the Australian tailenders made 50+ runs which made a bigger difference in the end. Umesh Yadav was not that fruitful and has higher chances of getting replaced in the upcoming test matches.

Nathan Lyon's 5 wickets haul

Openers

Shikhar Dhawan - Dhawan is the best suit in the present condition where other openers are getting failed in consecutive matches. It's time to swap players in rooster to make more impact on Australian bowlers.

Rohit Sharma - KL Rahul isn't that good in past 10 matches where he failed in both Englan and on Indian soil. KL Rahul is going through the worst phase of his cricketing. Rohit Sharma should open instead of going in the middle order.

Middle Order

Virat Kohli - The captain is in form and will likely to hit a ton in the upcoming test matches. Fingers crossed!

Chjeteshwar Pujara - The second generation wall is proving it's worth in the team and is solidified its position for upcoming years.

Ajinkya Rahane - A little bit more patience is needed as we count on him to make a good start for the lower middle order.

Lower Middle Order

Rishabh Pant - The wicketkeeper is making a good stand as he is scoring more runs although he is new he must also learn to sustain the partnership.

Hardik Pandya - Hardik Pandya can play a good role and support seamers at a time. He had a good performance in recent Ranji Trophy matches. We hope that he continues the same in upcoming test matches.

Hanuman Vihari - Hanuman Vihari is debutant and it is pretty hard to bat on foreign soil. However, he is scoring runs which is a good sign for his career and for Team India. Ravindra Jadeja is most likely to replace him in upcoming matches as the series stand on 50-50 probability of getting tied in the end.

Bowlers

Mohammad Shami - Shami is performing really well and took 4 wickets in the second inning of the second test match.

Ishant Sharma - Ishant Sharma is playing his legacy and will likely to continue throughout the series.

Jasprit Bumrah - Jasprit Bumrah is also supporting Indian team with its fierce yorkers and bouncers. He gets a solid position on the team.
