The Virat Kohli-led Indian team is gearing up to take on England in the upcoming fourth Test at Southampton. The players were seen sweating it out in a gruelling practise session on Wednesday. Ahead of the crucial encounter, India have received a massive boost as Ravichandran Ashwin, who was nursing a groin injury, was seen bowling in the nets on Wednesday. There were concerns over his fitness but the off-spinner seems to have recovered well in time and might feature in the 4th Test.

Ashwin had sustained a groin injury during the third Test at Trent Bridge. Despite being not fully fit he continued to bowl but had a very less impact finishing with a solitary wicket in the match. Ravindra Jadeja, who hasn't played a single game in the series so far was expected to be roped in as his replacement in the playing XI. As per reports in Aaj Tak, Ashwin has recovered from his injury and bowled in full swing in the nets.

While there is no official confirmation from the BCCI about the same, Ashwin's injury boost can be a positive for India considering how the series has panned out for the off-spin ace so far. He kicked-off his campaign on a brilliant note finishing with figures of 62/4 and 59/3 in the two innings respectively to torment the hosts in the opening Test.
