The first sight of Cricket after long Covid-19 break is Vincy Premier T10 League, which is playing in Caribbean. It was started yesterday in Kingstown. 3 matches played in opening day.

1st Match: Grenadine Divers vs Salt Pond Breakers.

It was a game that totally dominated by bowlers. Divers won the toss and elected to bat first, but they bowled out for just 68 runs in their 10 overs. Opening batsmen Shem Browne scored 24 runs from 13 balls. W.Stough was the most successful bowler for Breakers as he took 3 wickets for 7 runs. However, it was not an easy chase for Salt Pond Breakers, they lost 7 wickets before reaching the target. Sunil Ambris who was one of the International player join with this tournament, just scored 5 runs in the opeming game. They lost 6 wickets for 44 runs, but U.Thomas guided them to the victory after scoring 20 runs. Geron Whylie was the best bowler for Grenadine Divers for his spell of 9-4.

2nd Match: Bitanic Gardens Rangers vs La Soufriere Hikers.

Hikers asked Rangers to Bat first after they won the toss. Rangers just scored 70 runs for 5 wickets in their 10 overs. Only the skipper Kesrick Williams went pass 10 run mark, he scored 15 off 16 balls with one six. J.Haywood picked 3 wickets for 12 runs.

La Soufriere Hikers easily chased down the target with 26 balls to spare. Skipper Desron Maloney hit 41 runs off just 20 balls, won the man of the match award. Hikers won by 9 wickets.

3rd Match: Fort Charlotte Strikers vs Dark View Explorers.

LOD James, captain of Dark View Riders won the toss and elected to field first. They restricted Fort Charlotte Strikers for just 75 runs. GD Pope was the top scorer with 28 runs. D.Martin delivered an economical spell by just conceding just 5 runs with 2 wickets in his 2 overs. Explorers chased the target with just losing 2 wickets with 9 balls to spare. Skipper James scored 17 runs and lead his team to the victory.
