In the ongoing 8th National sports, the teams that will reach the semi final for men's cricket has been finalized. Group A winner Armed Police Force (APF) and Group B runner up Nepal Police Club (NPC) will play against each other in the semis while Group B winner Tribhuwan Army Club (TAC) will play against Region 1 in the other semis of the tournament. The semis will be played at Kohalpur Cricket Ground.

To determine the winner of Group A, APF defeated NPC by 2 runs. APF were dismissed in 115 runs in 19.5 overs. Pradeep Airi scored 40 runs for APF in 42 balls with the help of a six and 3 fours. Before, Anil Shah was dismissed in 16 runs and Shared Vesvakar was dismissed in 1 run. Prithu, Sumit, Sandeep, Amar, Bhuwan also batted for APF. Dipendra Airi took 4 wickets for NPC. Ramnaresh Giri and Lalit Rajbansi took 2 wickets each. Aarif Sheikh and Sagar Dhakal took 1 wicket each. In reply, NPC scored 113 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 8 wickets. NPC needed 5 runs to win in last over but Kamal Singh Airi gave only 2 runs in the last over to win the match for APF.

In the other match played, Region 1 defeated Karnali Region by 50 runs. Army Club won Region 3 by 8 wickets.
