T20 cricket is being played in the 8th National sports event in Nepal. Tribhuwan army Club (TAC) and Armed Police Force (APF) registered their wins in the respective matches. In the match played in Kohalpur, TAC won by 6 wickets while in the match played in Bhairahawa, APF won by 5 wickets.

In the match played in Bhairahawa, Region 5 made 90 runs in 20 overs losing 8 wickets. While chasing, APF chased the target in 18.1 overs losing 5 wickets. Sandeep Sunar(26), Siddhant Shahi(14), Anupam Singh(15) and Suraj Darai(11) scored for Region 5. Bashanta Regmi took 3 wickets for APF. Yagyaman, Abhinash, Bhuwan and Sharad took 1 wicket each. Shankar Rana(32) and Pradeep Airi(23) were the top scorers for APF.

In the match played in Kohalpur, Region 6 were dismissed in 78 runs in 15.4 overs. In reply, TAC won the match in 17 overs losing 4 wickets. The left arm spinner Sushan Bhari took 3 wickets. He was the man of the match for consecutively 2 times in a row. Also Jitendra Mukhiya and sompal Kami took 2 wickets each. Krishna Jha(29) and Rajesh Pulami(18*) were the scorers for TAC.

With this wins, APF tops the group A with 2 wins in 2 matches while TAC tops the Group B with 2 wins in 2 matches. We expect much more thrilling matches in the tournament.
