Triton International College(TC) wins Golden Gate College T20 Cricket tournament. In the venue of TU Ground, Triton wins the final defeating the strong Golden Gate College by 5 wickets.

GoldenGate(GG) lost the toss and batted first. GG scored a total of 126 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Dipendra Singh Airi scored a half century for their innings. In reply, Triton won the match in 19.2 overs. For Triton, Pradeep Airi top scored with a not out innings of 45. Also, Bikram Sob contributed 17 runs in 6 balls for this win.

Winner TC gets reward of 2 lakhs 22 thousands 2 hundred and 22 rupees only while runner up GG had to satisfy with 1 lakh 11 thousands 1 hundred and 11 rupees only.

The target was not too much for Trinity but during their chase they lose 2 wickets in just 16 runs. The third wicket partnership of Pradip Airi and Adil Khan was 65 runs which boosted the innings of Trinity. Abinash Bohara bowled well and made Adil and Binod Bhandari out during this innings. Also, Kiran was made out by Amar Singh and GG returned in the match as well.

TC needed 15 runs to win in last 8 balls. Before this, bikram Sob hit 2 sixes in the end of 19th over which made this equation look good for TC. In the last over, TC won the match in just 2 balls.

Pradip top scored TC innings with 45*(45). It included 3 fours in his innings. The best batsman of the tournament Khan scored 33 balls in 32 balls. He hit 2 fours and 2 sixes in his innings. Nandan Yadav and DS Airi took first two wickets in the 2nd innings.

In the 1st innings, GG had lost first two wickets in 8 runs. Sharad Veswakar and Anil Kumar Shah departed cheaply for 22. Sumit Maharjan and Dipendra made a partnership of 42 runs. Sumit scored 20 runs in 24 balls. He scored 2 fours and 1 six. Dipendra was out in 18th over. Before getting out he scored 61 runs in 50 balls. He hit 5 fours and 2 six in his innings. Dipendra had scored a century in the tournament as well.

Besides, Dipendra and Sumit, Jitendra Singh Thakuri scored 16 runs and Sonu Tamang scored a not out innings of 11 runs. The man of the match in the final was Bikram Sob who took 2 wickets. Also, Lalit Narayan Rajbansi and Arun Airi took 2 wickets each.

Dipendra Singh airi was declared as the man of the series based on his all round performance throughout the series. He got extra 25 thousand rupees as a reward. Rupesh Sriwastav representing Kathmandu University was declared as the bowler of the series as he had took 10 wickets. He as well as Adil received ten thousands each. A total of 12 teams were participating in this tournament.
