This tournament was conducted in Dhading from Jestha 17-21. It is sponsored by Karu Memorial Trust. The matches were played in Bishaltar stadium in Dhading. This is the 3rd edition of the tournament. In the final played yesterday, the tournament is won by Benighat Cricket Club B (BCCB).
The tournament was played between 6 teams and they were divided into 2 groups. Benighat A, Gajuri and Majimdar were in Group A while Benighat B, Dhading and Malekhu were in Group B.
The final of the tournament was played yesterday between Benighat B and Gajuri. In the first innings, BCCB scored 136 runs with the loss of 7 wickets in 10 overs. Bibek RanaMagar scored 69 runs in 20 balls and Bishwash Shrestha scored 23 runs in 12 balls for BCCB.
Niran Rijal, Gyan Shrestha, Subash Magar and Sumit took a wicket each for Gajuri. Chasing the target of 137 runs, Gajuri could only manage to score 85 runs in 10 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. Shrestha scored 26 runs in 11 balls, Rijal scored unbeaten 16 runs in 11 balls. Gajuri lost the match by 51 runs and Bibek RanaMagar was declared the man of the match.
