New Horizon Cricket Academy (NHCA) has reached the final of the Karnali Premier League tournament. They defeated the organizers Karnali-11 by 3 wickets.
The captaining innings of Shakti Gauchan help them to secure their place in the finals. Due to the extreme wind in the ground, the match was reduced to 13 overs per side. In this match, Shakti won the toss and they forced Karnali-11 to bat first. In return, Karnali-11 made 62 runs with the loss of 4 wickets in 13 overs. Krishna Karki made 33 runs for Karnali-11. He played 31 balls in the innings with 3 fours and 1 six in the match. Krisna Karki made a partnership of 45 runs with Lokesh Bom for the 4th wicket. The first 3 wickets could not contribute more for Karnali-11. Shakti Gauchan took 2 wickets in the match. He bowled a maiden over in his 3 overs giving just 6 runs. Akhilesh Yadav and Arjun Rayamajhi took a wicket as well.
Chasing the target, NHCA reached the target in 11.5 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. Pandey scored 18, Nischal scored 10, Sunil Dhamala scored 8 and Bishal sunar was not out on 10 runs. Kishor Mahato took 3 wickets for Karnali-11 and Prakash Joshi had 2 wickets in his name. Shakti Gauchan was the man of the match.
