Among all the matches played for quarter finals of the tournament Ward No. 6, 5, 7 and 10 has been selected for the semi-final of the tournament.
In the first quarter final played today, Ward. No 10 defeated Ward No. 9 by 44 runs. Ward No. 10 made 213 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. Shyam scored 72 runs, Aman scored 37 runs, Sonu scored 30 runs and Bibek scored 22 runs for Ward No. 10. Riyaju, Ramnawaj, Kadir and Samin took a wicket each for Ward No. 9.
Chasing the target of 214 runs, Ward No. 9 could only make 169 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 9 wickets. Riyaju scored 67 runs, Ramnawaj scored 17 runs and Khalid scored 11 runs for Ward No. 9. Narendra and Mukesh took 3 wickets each. Bibek took 2 wickets and Krishna took a wicket for Ward No. 10. Shyam Kumar was declared the man of the match.
In the last quarter final played, Ward No. 7 defeated Ward No. 3 by 3 wickets. Ward. No 3 were dismissed in 111 runs in 16 overs in the first innings of the match. Dhurup scored 32 runs, Faisil and Immad scored 14 runs each, Saidurman scored 11 runs for Ward No. 3. Arfat took 4 wickets, Taweswar and Talik took 2 wickets each, Aklesh took a wicket as well for Ward No. 7.
Chasing the target of 112 runs, Ward No. 7 reached the target in 17.2 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. Arfat scored 20 runs, Aklesh scored 15 runs, Govind and Mantasg scored 13 runs each for Ward No. 7. Imram took 4 wickets, Rajinder took 3 wickets, Mohammad and Riyaj took a wicket each for Ward No. 3. Arfat Alam was declared the man of the match.
Now the semi-final matches of the tournament will be played from Jestha 15th. The first semi-final of the tournament will be played between Ward No. 6 Vs. Ward No. 7. The second semi-final will be played between Ward No. 5 Vs. Ward No. 10.
