This year budget for Nepal has been released yesterday. A total of 3 Arab 99 Crore will be spend on the sports arena in this year. Mulpani Cricket Stadium gets preference to be completed within 2 years and get a budget of Rs. 10 crore for its completion.
The economic minister Yuvraj Khatiwoda has further said that all the provinces will be equipped by grounds and all the states will be provided with one Khelgram (a sports hub). A well established sporting place will be constructed in the capital of the country. For this purpose, an additional 40 crores has been allocated.
The ability of the player should be encouraged to multiply from their regional levels. The government will help in this process. A cricket academy will be constructed in the capital of the country. All the sports ground being constructed by private sector will be encouraged by the government. From now on, each school should have at least a sports teacher. For this purpose, government has allocated a sum of Rs. 5 Arab.
Nepal will be organizing 13th South Asian Games (SAG) in December and 9th National games in 2077 B.S. The expenses for primary requirements for this events has been allocated in the budget for this financial year.
