ACC U-19 Eastern tournament will be organized from July 2nd - 9th. It will be held in Malaysia. The players of Nepal for the tournament has been announced.
Nepal will be led by the captain Rohit Paudel. There are old players of the squad as well as some new young talents. Nepal is the defending champion of the tournament. On 2017, Nepal defeated HongKong by 5 wickets to win the tournament in Malaysia. Nepali team will move towards Malaysia in June 30th. The team is practicing in the TU ground Kirtipur for the tournament.
Host Malaysia, China, Myanmar, Singapore, Bhutan, HongKong, Thailand and Nepal will participate in the tournament. Two pools of four teams each are created for the round league matches. Nepal is in Group A with China, Myanmar and Singapore. Malaysia, Bhutan, HongKong and Thailand are in Group B. Each team will play a game against each other in the group stages and the top 2 teams from each group will reach the semi-finals. All matches will be of 50 overs per side unless and until rain comes.
