Yesterday was played the Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League match between Abahani Limited and Mohammedan Sporting Club at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. In which Abahani Ltd won the match by 60 runs.
Mohammedan Sporting Club won the toss and elected to field first, Abahani Limited batted first scored 193 runs after losing 7 wicket in sipulated 20 over, Abahani Limited started not very well, Munim Shahriar and Liton Das came to start the inning, the first wicket has gone in 26 runs, Liton Das dismissed just for 4 runs in 7 balls, next batsman Najmul Hossain Shanto came to bat, and played well with Munim Shahriar, the second wicket fell in 68 runs, Najmul Hossain Shanto dismissed after scoring 27 runs in 17 balls, next batsman Mushfiqur Rahim came to bat, after few moments the third also fell in 77 runs, Munim Shahriar dismissed after playing a brilliant quick inning of 43 runs, with the help of 2 sixes and 5 boundries in just 27 balls, followed by Mohammad Naim came to bat, handled the inning and played a brilliant half-century partnership of 55 runs with Mushfiqur Rahim, the fourth wicket fell in 132 runs, Mohammad Naim dismissed after scoring 24 runs in 18 balls, next batsman Afif Hossain came to bat, and played well for a while with Mushfiqur Rahim, and dismissed for 10 runs in 9 balls as fifth wicket, followed by Mosaddek Hossain came to bat, and played well with Mushfiqur Rahim, the sixth wicket fell in 178 runs, Mosaddek Hossain dismissed after played a quick inning of 14 runs in just 7 balls, next batsman Mohammad Saifuddin came to bat, and he dismissed without scoring as seventh wicket, after that Tanzim Hasan Sakib came to bat, and he remians unbeaten for 4 runs in 3 balls with Mushfiqur Rahim, and Mushfiqur Rahim played a brilliant unbeaten half-century inning of 57 runs with the help of 1 six and 8 boundries in just 32 balls. In this way, Abahani Limited batted first after losing the toss, scored 193 runs lost of 7 wickets in 20 overs, and set a target of 194 runs in front of Mohammedan Sporting Club.
