Kagiso Rabada Comments on Bumrah and Archer
The South Africa tour of India is only a few weeks away. It is a new challenge for both teams, especially for India who recently concluded their tour of the West Indies. The Men in Blue were leading in all series of the event and ended as the overall champions. They’ve finally risen after their failed campaign at the ICC World Cup 2019. Pacer Kagiso Rabada of the Proteas spoke about his career in the sport. In all three formats of cricket, he took 44 wickets at an average of 28.65. The pacer also spoke about the failed campaign of his side for this year’s World Cup. ‘It’s never easy maintaining a career; I’ve learned that there are a lot of ups and downs. I want to be the best in the world, everybody does. You are naturally going to compete in that fashion, I’m not too worried, I’m feeling nice and easy’, ‘I’m disappointed, not angry (about the World Cup). What do I do with anger? When a setback comes you want to be determined, you don’t want to change a lot of things. It’s about seeing where you went wrong and then putting in extra work’, said Rabada. Despite his achievement of being the fourth-highest wicket-taker among pacers, Rabada has been overlooked with the popularity of India’s Jasprit Bumrah and England’s Jofra Archer. Rabada commented about the two cricketers. According to him, he admires them and even praised the two of them. SA tour of India is on September 15. On the same day, the first T20I match will be played at Dharamshala. The two teams are also scheduled to play a Test series that will start on October 2. Test matches will form part of the inaugural ICC World Test Championship.
