Nepal beat UAE to win the first Historic T20 Series
Nepal won the first T20 series yesterday after the victory in the final match. After the 21 runs loss in the first match, Nepal made a good comeback winning the second match by four wickets. As like in the ODI series Nepal won the last match and registered a historic win. Image Source Due to the rain the last match yesterday was reduced to 10 over. Nepal made a good score of 104 runs in loss of 8 wickets in 10 over. Captain parash Khadka scored 29 runs, Sandeep Jora contributed 28 runs, Binod Bhandari scored 21 runs, and Karan KC made 11 runs. Sompal and Pawan were back to pavilion without scoring runs, DS Airee scored just two runs. UAE’s captain Mohammed Naveed showed an excellent performance picking up two wickets in two over and gave just six runs. Amir Hayat also picked up two wickets in two overs and gave 16 runs. Zahoor Khan, Sultan Ahmed, Mohammed Boota, and Imran Haider picked up one wicket each. Chasing the target of 105 runs UAE were able to score just 90 runs in loss of 8 wickets. Saiman Anwar scored 30 runs, Ghulam Shabbir made 25 runs, and Muhammed Boota scored 11 runs. Other UAE’s batsman failed to score the double-digit run. Avinash Bohora, Sompal Kami and Karan KC picked up to wickets each. Sandeep and Lalit also picked up one wicket each. Gyanendra Malla showed a great fielding effort and took three important catches. Karan KC was awarded with Player of the Match. Nepali team will return to Nepal today. Sandeep Lamchhane will go back to Australia today to play in the Big Bash League in the remaining matches for Melbourne Stars. Congratulations Nepal and Nepali fans.
