We are truly thankful for the ongoing community engagement and support by many who have accompanied the Scorum journey. We understand that market conditions and the current SCR price may not be what everyone expected, but our focus hasn’t changed: we are committed to building, improving, and securing meaningful partnerships to expand Scorum.

Let’s get straight to the key topics being discussed:

🔹 Blockchain Strategy: Multi-Chain

Moving to Cosmos was a strategic choice to improve scalability and flexibility. However, we also recognize the challenges it presents in terms of adoption and accessibility. That’s why we’re actively exploring multi-chain expansion, looking into Ethereum L2s or Solana as potential additions. These networks offer stronger ecosystems, increased liquidity, and better accessibility, which could benefit both the project and the community.

That said, this isn’t a decision we’re making lightly. We’re carefully weighing technical feasibility, costs, and long-term impact before committing to any additional blockchain integrations.

🔹 Staking Model Adjustments

Our current staking model follows Cosmos’ standard delegation and validator-based rewards system. However, we recognize that certain aspects can be improved to enhance user experience and incentivize long-term participation.

To improve the staking experience, we’re making the following change: lowering slashing risks. The penalty for slashing will be reduced from 1% to 0.1%, making delegation safer.

🔹 Rebranding Consideration

Some have suggested renaming Scorum’s token to better reflect our expanded ecosystem, such as branding it under Aviatrix. After careful discussion, we’ve decided not to merge Scorum and Aviatrix into a single brand.

Scorum has built a recognized identity over the years, and rebranding would mean losing the reputation and visibility we’ve worked hard to establish. Many in our community have pointed out that Scorum remains one of the few projects from its era that is still operational with a working product, despite market fluctuations. Starting over with a new brand isn’t the right move for us at this stage. Instead, our focus is on expanding SCR’s role within the ecosystem while keeping the brands distinct.

🔹 Strengthening Community Incentives

We’ve run contests, giveaways, and marketing campaigns to encourage community participation and use of SCR. While these efforts have driven engagement, we’ve found that they don’t always attract the right kind of users — people who are genuinely interested in the product and contribute to its growth.

Because of this, we’re taking a different approach to community growth:

  • Building partnerships by integrating new tokens into Aviatrix, ensuring that projects with active communities support our ecosystem while providing marketing exposure for Scorum.
  • Leveraging marketing collaborations with these projects to attract engaged Web3 users who align with our vision.

While we remain open to engagement-driven activities, our goal is to foster organic and sustainable growth by partnering with established communities and leveraging strategic integrations that bring real value to both Scorum and its partners.

🔹 NFT Marketplace

The NFT marketplace for Aviatrix hasn’t launched yet because skins haven’t been introduced in the game yet. While NFTs do exist within Aviatrix, our strategic decision is to launch skins first before enabling trading. This approach ensures a wider variety of assets for players, making the marketplace more valuable and diverse once it goes live.

Looking Ahead

We know progress takes time, but every step we take is focused on strengthening Scorum’s position in Web3 and creating long-term value for the community. We are actively listening, considering all options, and making strategic moves that align with both long-term success and the opportunities available in an evolving blockchain landscape.

We appreciate everyone who shares constructive feedback and helps push Scorum forward. Let’s continue working together to build, innovate, and grow the ecosystem.
