For people who live in equatorial regions like myself, curling is a sport that is rarely heard of. This is because curling requires open ice rinks to play, only people in countries with sub-tropical climates can play it.

Originating in Europe, this sport was popularized by the Scots who migrated to the American continent, the sport then found its home in Canada.
