For people who live in equatorial regions like myself, curling is a sport that is rarely heard of. This is because curling requires open ice rinks to play, only people in countries with sub-tropical climates can play it. Originating in Europe, this sport was popularized by the Scots who migrated to the American continent, the sport then found its home in Canada. And this is how people curling nowadays.
