International 2018 is Top 1 in terms of prize pools!

With $25,532,177.00 in overall prizes, International 2018 is Top 1! Dota 2 did it again guys. Beating their previous year records which are all arranged from 1-5 since 2014.

As you can see, Dota 2 has snatched all the Top 5 places in this ranking. The 6th one actually lags far behind. From Dota 2's Top 5 (The International 2014) versus League of Legends' Top 6 (LoL 2016 World Championship), the gap is big at $10,931,103.00 vs $5,070,000.00 for LoL (which is more than double).

We'll just have to wait for the next competitor for this prize pool ranking. Maybe if Fortnite would push through their plans, they'd really snag the Top 1 place at a whooping $100,000,000.00 prize pool as they have announced back in May (Source).

Let's see if MOBAs will no longer be king in this atmosphere, cosidering the amount of money Fortnite got from in-app purchases for Fortnite, the prize pool isn't that big for them.
